RunnyRunny is a keyboard-based program launcher that makes working with Windows much quicker and easier than with the mouse. Runny's strengths are:It's FAST It's TINY It's SIMPLE It works! Press ALT SPACEBAR to activate it, type something in and hit return. You can type:- a program or document name - autocomplete will help. Days of soul searching were involved in the decision to include the scroll-on/scroll-off effect but it was eventually decided that this increases the usability of the product without adding complexity or resource overhead.How did we get it so small and quick? We used Microsoft Visual C++ v6.0 which we've been happily using since it was released. We avoid extra libraries like MFC, ATL or .NET. The code is organised using simple C++ classes (if we used straight C, of course, it would be even smaller...but less manageable and reliable).
