About Abbeytek Ltd
Abbeytek Ltd was founded in 1998 in Rosedale Abbey, a
picturesque village in the heart of the North York Moors. In
2000, the company moved to larger premises in Norton, a small
town near York and, since September 2004, Abbeytek has
occupied a dedicated facility in this North Yorkshire town.

Abbeytek has two main Divisions:
The Zipcounts Division provides support for our
flagship desktop marketing software package.
The Software Development Division provides services of
the highest quality to companies large and small. Applications
are efficiently and expertly built to customer requirements and
the company's work in this area has earned it much praise.

We pride ourselves on our expertise and experience.
Software is written with efficiency, flair and an avoidance of
over-engineering. Every one of our developers has at least 15
years of industrial software development experience.
Abbeytek has written software to control & monitor equipment as diverse
as:
- Customer Display Boards on Railway Station Platforms,
- Redundant Power Supplies for the mobile phone networks,
- Plastic Extrusion Machines,
- Satellite synchronised Clocks on the London Underground,
- An Industrial Depositor, used to insert the bubbly bit
inside a certain well known chocolate bar,
- A rotating laser module for custom real-time measurement &
scanning applications.
Abbeytek has also done a huge amount of work in the Oil / Gas
measurement & control arena, contributing heavily in the
development of various metering systems.
